Rick and Tina Willoughby hosted a ride at the farm of Tina's
parents near Corinth, Kentucky on Saturday May 20th this year. In the past, this had been a fund raiser ride for several handicapped children
in that area. This year, attendees were permitted to make a donation to this cause, but it was not required. Leading into the weekend, there were
predictions of rain and thunderstorms, but the bad weather stayed north or south of the farm for most of the time and we were able to get in a dry ride.
There were a few showers late on the day on Friday and one thunderstorm on Saturday evening that drove everyone into the garage/shop, but didn't put a stop
to the festivities. Rick and Tina had invited horse riders, horse drawn wagons and 4 wheelers all to attend. As a result, the event attracted a pretty
large and younger group than many of the horse event that I photograph. Overall, the food was excellent, the company was great and there was plenty of fun!
I can't wait until the next time they invite us for a ride. The link below will let you see the photos from this event.
